Sensemakers Amsterdam

  • Marineterrein Kattenburgerstraat 7 (map)

“Lidar is a point cloud 3D scanning technology used by many industrial and engineering industries to visualize manufactured parts or quality inspections and is also used to help autonomous vehicles and robots navigate their surroundings. How can we use Lidar in new and creative ways to better understand the digital reality of our built environment? In this talk, Tom will show a digital twin created of the Marineterrin as a multi-media canvas that paints a landscape of new and exciting possibilities”.

Every 3th Wednesday of the month Sensemakers hosts presentations, open mic & discussions about IoT-related subjects. This evening we have:

  • Tanguy Coenen from Imec will share their insights and best practises with Twin City Antwerpen

  • on practical applications of IoT and AI to help ProRail manage maintenance, safety & security of the railwail infrastructure

  • Tom van Arman from TAPP on the digital twin of the Marineterrein

Doors open at 18.30 at Marineterrein (details will follow) for networking & discussing projects. Presentations usually start at 19h & end around 20.30 with "open mic" when you can share your own story/event/question.
